The first DSV CIO applied research programme ended Feb 2012 and was much appreciated by the participants. One great outcome was the model for Process improvement Heatmap and Positioning. It has now been piloted with very good results. Even though it might seem "too simplistic" it turns out that this is the key to get management and key stakeholders on the same page in a relatively short time. The result is that the organisation really feel that management "speak with one voice", thus giving the right mandate and prioritity to get things done in the operational process improvement work.

The main piloting has been done in the industry but a workshop within the public sector shows that this will work here as well.

Some ideas of how the results of this method turns out can be found at the end of the enclosed presentation. Send a mail to info@duqtor.com or contact Jens at jeoh@dsv.su.se if you want to find out more on the method or participate in the research program.
